Raul Estrada

Raul Estrada is a skilled professional with extensive experience in power trading, data science, and user experience design. Currently serving as a Real Time Power Trader and Data Science Analyst at El Paso Electric Company since October 2019, Raul has successfully delivered a 20-year energy forecasting project and enhanced workflow efficiency through R Markdown. Previously, as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at El Paso, Raul authored a winning proposal for a notable Department of Homeland Security research contract. At BNY Mellon | Pershing, Raul held the position of Vice President in User Experience Research, where comprehensive ethnographic studies and usability testing were conducted to improve user experience and stakeholder engagement. Earlier roles at Ernst & Young and Lockheed Martin further established Raul's expertise in user experience design and engineering. Raul holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MS in Human Factors in Information Design and an MS in Economics and Data Science from The University of Texas at El Paso.
