Victor Martinez

Victor Martinez is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Energy Resources at El Paso Electric Company since April 2005. Responsibilities include overseeing power sales and purchases across various markets, ensuring compliance with executive management's parameters, and exploring opportunities for maximizing energy resources. Previously, Victor held several roles within the company, including Manager of Resource Planning and Supervisor of Day Ahead & Long Term Trading, where expertise in regulatory support and trading operations was developed. Prior to the energy industry, Victor gained supervisory experience in roles at DECO International Security Corporation and Circuit City, as well as in management at Kmart Corporation.
