Esmeralda Mejia has a strong background in the restaurant industry, with a focus on franchise operations and marketing. Esmeralda began their career at El Pollo Loco in 2000 as an Area Manager, overseeing multiple locations. After 13 years in this role, they joined WKS Restaurant Group as a District Manager, where they further honed their skills in management. In 2017, Esmeralda returned to El Pollo Loco, this time as a Senior Manager in Operations Marketing. Esmeralda then transitioned to the role of Franchise Business Director, where they currently work.
