Sami Salmi

Sami Salmi has a strong background in ICT, with experience in various leadership roles. Sami has worked as CIO and Head of Information Systems at the Finnish Centre for Pensions, as well as a People Lead and Consultant at Gofore. Sami has also held managerial positions at the City of Tampere and the Legal Register Centre. Prior to these roles, Sami has worked at CGI, Logica, and Manpower Business Solutions in different management positions. Sami has skills in program and project management, business development, and technical expertise.

Sami Salmi's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Technology from Satakunta Polytechnic. This degree was obtained from 1998 to 2003. In addition, Sami pursued further education at Hämeen Ammatti-instituutti from 2017 to 2019, specializing in Management for Organizational Leadership.

Furthermore, Sami holds several additional certifications. In 2010, Sami obtained the ITIL v3. Foundation certification from Wakaru Oy. In 2013, Sami achieved the IPMA Level C certification from PMAF. Sami became a Certified SAFe Agilist in 2015 from Scaled Agile, Inc. Moreover, in 2022, Sami obtained the Certified Kanban Project Manager, Certified Scrum Master, and Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) certifications from the International Scrum Institute™.
