Enrique Calatayud

Enrique Calatayud is currently the Lead IT at ELAMEDIA ESTUDIOS. Prior to this, they worked as a VFX Engineer at Serena from March 2014 to April 2019. In this role, they were responsible for system administration, VFX support, and pipeline development for Serena Digital. As a developer, Enrique has experience with the LAMP stack (PHP, MySQL, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3) and is now learning the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, NodeJS). Enrique is also a 3D support specialist (Maya, 3D Max, Cinema4D, Arnold renderer) and render farm specialist (Deadline, Autodesk Backburner, custom solutions) with experience in Python development. Additionally, they have experience in postproduction support (Nuke, Flame, Flameassist, Flare), Adobe support (Entire Adobe Suite), and editing support (Final Cut 7/X, Premiere, Avid Media Composer). As a sysadmin, Enrique has experience deploying Active Directory services (Windows Server 2008/2012 R2), managing and deploying Microsoft Exchange Server (2010), managing SAN networks (StorNext), and managing LTO backup library (Quantum iScalar) and software (Retrospect). Enrique is also skilled in HyperV, Pfsense, Powershell scripting, Linux/Mac scripting, and Sysinternals tools. Prior to their role at Serena, Enrique worked as a web & App developer at Zinkia Entertainment from September 2011 to May 2012.

Enrique Calatayud studied at Universidad Europea and Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha before completing a Técnico Superior en Desarrollo de Aplicaciones Informáticas at IES Maestre de Calatrava.
