Efrain Barreiro has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Efrain began their career as a Staff Accountant at Akersloot, Depriest, Wall, & Hill, CPAs before moving on to become a Senior Government Accountant at Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County. After that, they joined Elan-Polo as a Senior Accountant, where they supervised financial reporting packages and worked on budget management. Efrain also served as the Executive Financial Associate at Elan-Polo, collaborating with teams globally and managing financial data for a $30 million sector of the company's operations. Later, Efrain held multiple roles at Elan-Polo, including Chief Operations Officer, Chief Information Officer, and Chief Logistics Officer. In these roles, they built IT and logistic infrastructure, led international technical teams, and played a significant role in increasing sales by 53%. Currently, they work as an Accounting and Financial Consultant for various companies, overseeing financial and accounting functions, preparing valuation reports for mergers and acquisitions, and implementing systems and procedures to increase productivity. Prior to their professional career, Efrain was a Professional Baseball Player for the Houston Astros and a Student Athlete at Western Kentucky University.
Efrain Barreiro holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations, which they earned from Belmont University in 2008. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting at Western Kentucky University in 1989.
