Abhirup Mandal

Abhirup Mandal, Ph. D., currently serves as a Research Scientist in Biologics Drug Product Development at Elanco, focusing on the development and characterization of drug product formulations and manufacturing processes for biologics. Previously, Abhirup worked at CAGE Bio Inc. as the CMC Team Lead, where strategic project development and risk mitigation were prioritized, alongside roles as Scientific Lead for Oligonucleotide Therapeutics and Senior Scientist in Product Development R&D. Abhirup's postdoctoral experience includes research at both Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, specializing in protein delivery systems and drug delivery processes. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, a Postdoctoral Scholar position at Harvard University, and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
