Aline Pegel

Aline Pegel, PhD, DGPT, is a senior scientific expert in Safety and Toxicology at Elanco, with extensive experience in project management related to toxicology and safety for parasiticide products in the EU and USA. Since 2021, Aline has overseen the discovery and development phases and product maintenance, building upon previous roles at Elanco focusing on risk assessments and strategic planning for veterinary product safety. Aline has a solid background in toxicology from Bayer Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included early and late development, budget planning, and risk assessments, along with earlier positions as a research associate and intern in various institutions. Aline holds a post-graduate degree in Toxicology and Environment from Leipzig University and has pursued studies in biochemistry and molecular biology at Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
