Bert Verkade

Bert Verkade is an experienced professional in commercial and marketing data management, currently serving as Senior Director of Commercial and Marketing Data at Elanco since March 2020. In this role, Bert leads governance and operations for master data across business and IT functions. Previously, Bert held the position of Advisor for Commercial Integration Strategy, focusing on the integration and transformation of export markets and governance of the Commercial Integration Team. With a background in strategy and operations, Bert served as Chief of Staff for the International Region at Elanco, where governance was established through structured meetings and follow-up on action items. Bert also has a solid foundation in operational excellence and Six Sigma methodologies, having held various roles in Novartis and Prime Polymers, including Commercial Head and Chief Financial Officer positions, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Avans University of Applied Sciences.
