David Buechel

David Buechel currently serves as the Vice President of Global Tax at Elanco, a position held since July 2023, where David leads the global tax function. Prior to Elanco, David was the Tax Director at Micron Technology from February 2022 to July 2023. David's extensive background in tax planning includes roles at Corning Incorporated from November 2016 to February 2022, where titles included Director of Tax Planning for Asia, Director of Tax Planning, and Senior Manager of Tax Planning. David also served as Senior Tax Manager in International Tax at Johnson Controls from August 2014 to November 2016 and held the position of Senior Manager in International Tax at Rockwell Collins from June 2011 to August 2014. Earlier experience includes a role as a Tax Consultant and subsequently as a Senior/Manager at Deloitte from September 2005 to June 2011. David Buechel holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Augustana College.
