Eric Gauger

Eric Gauger is a seasoned professional in the field of veterinary medicine and animal health, currently serving as a Senior Advisor in Product Development at Elanco since August 2022. Prior to this role, Eric held the position of Global Project Leader for Cattle at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health - US from June 2018 to August 2022, after serving as a Project Manager at Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica from September 2015 to August 2022, focusing on companion animal vaccines. Eric's extensive background includes a decade at Merck Animal Health as a Senior Scientist, leading research for canine vaccine development, and earlier experience as a Post Doctoral Researcher at the University of Rhode Island. Eric holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Additionally, Eric is pursuing an MBA in Technology Management at SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
