John Chege

John Chege is an experienced finance leader currently serving as the Executive Finance Director for Manufacturing and Quality at Elanco since September 2023. Previously, John spent 18 years at Cummins Inc., holding various positions including Finance Director for FP&A and Central Supply Chain Groups, where responsibilities included providing strategic financial support and visibility on supply chain cost trends. As Global Purchasing Finance Director, John led a team of 17 in identifying Total Cost of Ownership savings. Additional roles included Financial Controller for the Cummins Distribution Business in Africa and Plant Controller for Cummins Emissions Solutions in South Africa. John holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi, complemented by a CPA from Strathmore University.
