John Paul Davis

John Paul Davis currently serves as the Global Head of Intellectual Property at Elanco, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, John Paul was a Partner and Executive Committee Member at Wood, Herron & Evans, L.L.P. from January 2008 to May 2023, specializing in intellectual property law and advising a diverse clientele on various aspects of IP management. John Paul also has significant experience in the US Air Force Reserve, where from October 2008 to May 2017, John Paul held multiple roles as Assistant Staff Judge Advocate, providing legal counsel to high-ranking commanders and overseeing legal personnel for major commands, including the 25th Air Force and USSTRATCOM. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, along with advanced military education from the USAF Air War College, USAF Air Command and Staff College, and USAF Squadron Officers School.
