Katharina Bohnenblust

Katharina Bohnenblust, PhD, is an accomplished pharmaceutical expert with extensive experience in formulation development and technical leadership. Currently serving as Head of Formulation Development and Senior Director Small Molecule Technical Development at Elanco since July 2016, Katharina has held various senior roles within the company, contributing significantly to small molecule drug development. Prior to Elanco, Katharina worked at Nestle Skin Health S.A. as Laboratory Manager and Project Leader in formulation development from May 2011 to June 2016, and began their professional career as a Pharmacist at Pharmacy Rathausgalerie from June 2008 to May 2011. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Düsseldorf, complemented by a state examination in Pharmacy from the same university and further study at the University of Florida.
