Marc Averill

Marc Averill, CSP, OHST, has extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management, with a current role as an Advisor - HSE at Elanco since March 2015, overseeing waste management and environmental permits. Previously, Marc served as an Environmental & Safety Officer at Lohmann Animal Health International, managing OSHA compliance and workers' compensation, and held various roles including Quality Assurance Manager and Facilities Manager, where responsibilities included program management and operational oversight in vaccine production facilities. Marc's earlier military experience includes serving as an Electrical Systems Craftsman Master Sergeant in the Maine Air National Guard and as a Construction Electrician 1st Class in the United States Naval Reserve. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health and multiple associate degrees in related fields.
