Shannon Thornton

Shannon Thornton is an accomplished sales professional with extensive experience in veterinary pharmaceutical sales and territory management. Currently serving as Executive Territory Manager at Elanco since September 2025, Shannon previously held the position of Territory Sales Manager at Dechra from July 2021 to August 2025. Prior to this, Shannon worked at Elanco as Senior Territory Manager from January 2015 to June 2021 and at Novartis as Territory Manager from 2011 to 2015. Shannon's career began at Abbott as a Senior Sales Representative from 2005 to 2011, and included an earlier role as Assistant Branch Manager at Enterprise from 2004 to 2005. Shannon's foundational experience in sales was established at Dynasplint Systems, Inc. as a Sales Representative from September 2002 to December 2003. Shannon holds a B.A. in Economics from UCLA.
