Bill Main

Bill Main has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Lead Commissioning Manager at Seplat Energy Plc since January 2020, where Bill oversees engineering commissioning activities. In addition, Bill holds the position of Facilities Optimisation Manager at Eland Oil & Gas, providing operational support for the OML40 Licence, which includes two producing fields and crude barging operations. Prior to these roles, Bill has occupied various senior positions, including Senior UK North Sea & West Africa Operations & Commercial Professional and Commercial Manager, and has extensive experience at TAQA, where responsibilities included supply chain management and midstream operations. Bill's career began at Shell, where Bill managed the Brent Blend Transportation System and was responsible for production operations support in various regions. Bill holds an HNC in multi-discipline from Aberdeen Technical College.
