James Braide

James Braide began his career at the Port Harcourt Refining Company as a production engineer on national service from 1995 to 1996. He has over 23 years postgraduate work experience in the oil and gas industry, working in several exploration and production companies in Nigeria such as Moni Pulo Ltd, Aiteo Eastern Exploration Company & Millenium Oil and Gas Company, all at management level in production, maintenance

operations, drilling operations support and facilities engineering.

He also worked with international oil service firm, Expro Group International, from 2011 to 2016 as production operations manager in Nigeria, where he led a team that set up and managed design, construction, installation, commissioning, operations and maintenance of several early production facilities. He is a graduate of Chemical & Petrochemical Engineering from the Rivers State University of Science & Technology, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He is a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a corporate member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), as well as an associate member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
