Aran Kilroy

Aran Kilroy is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership. Currently serving as Tech Lead and Principal Software Engineer at Elastic since 2019, Aran leads the Billing and Metering team for Elastic Cloud. Prior to this role, Aran held various positions at Zenjob from 2017 to 2019, including Principal and Senior Software Engineer, where responsibilities included a staff/tech lead role and collaboration with founders on key initiatives. Aran's earlier experience at Fidelity Investments spanned from 2013 to 2017, starting as a Trainee Software Engineer and progressing to Software Engineer, focusing on DaaS and BI/metrics platforms, alongside maintaining a microservices architecture. Aran holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from the University of Galway (2010-2014).
