Dallas Thornton

Dallas Thornton, CPA, currently serves as the Senior Manager of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting at Elastic since August 2019. In this role, Dallas leads a team focused on establishing procedures and controls for a public company and manages technical accounting analysis related to new standards and M&A. Previously, Dallas held the position of SEC Reporting Manager and Stock Plan Administrator at Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. from January 2016 to July 2019, overseeing financial reporting and compliance while supporting special projects. Before that, Dallas worked as a Senior Accountant in External Reporting at Nike, where significant contributions included preparation of SEC filings.
