Sophie Chang

Sophie Chang is a seasoned professional in machine learning and engineering, currently serving as Team Lead at Elastic since September 2016, following the acquisition of Prelert, where Sophie held the position of VP Engineering from May 2014 to September 2016. Prior experience includes serving as Technical Director at Skylark Creative, an IT Strategy Consultant at the London School of Economics, and CTO at 1E, contributing to efficient IT solutions. Sophie's earlier roles included Head of Software at Lombard Direct and positions at Abbey National Treasury Services, JS Sainsburys, and Lombard North Central, which provided a strong foundation in software engineering. Sophie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Imperial College London from 1991 to 1994.
