Ziv Segal

Ziv Segal is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and operations. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Elastic since November 2023, Ziv previously co-founded and led Opster as CEO from 2019 until its acquisition by Elastic. Earlier roles include Chief Architect and Co-Founder at Logz.io and Technical Lead at Pixplit, where Ziv developed an innovative application supporting over a million users. Ziv's career also includes key positions such as CTO and Co-Founder at Aretch Systems, VoIP Software Engineer at Juniper Networks, and Technical Leader at Check Point Software Technologies. Ziv holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
