Andrii Horodnytskyi

Andrii Horodnytskyi has a diverse work experience, spanning various roles and industries. Andrii started their most recent position in August 2020 as a Team Leader and Rust Developer at Elastio Software. Prior to that, they worked at Polytech Software, starting in March 2017, where they served as a Ruby/Golang Senior SE and Tech Lead. Before entering the software industry, Andrii worked at the Institute of Service Life Extension of a Nuclear Power Plant from August 2014 to December 2016, where they were the Head of a Department responsible for secure expansion of life cycles of nuclear power plants. Andrii developed a methodology for calculating the time and conditions of nuclear power plant element disintegration. Andrii also has experience in the field of engineering, having worked as a Designer at TOV "Proektstroibiznes" for a brief period in 2012. At this role, they were involved in creating, documenting, and developing design projects using software like AutoCad and Visio. Andrii also developed project documentation, specifications, and materials for environmental impact assessments.

Andrii Horodnytskyi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering from Don State Technical University in 2013. Andrii further pursued their education and obtained a Master's degree in Engineering from Donbas State Technical University in 2014. Additionally, between 2007 and 2010, Andrii Horodnytskyi studied at LKF "Shag" and obtained another Bachelor's degree, this time in Software Development.
