Andrew Guiney has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Andrew began their career as a Financial & Regulatory Accountant at ICS Building Society/Bank of Ireland Mortgages, where they were responsible for preparing annual and monthly statutory accounts and liaising with auditors. Andrew then worked as a Bank Examiner at the Central Bank of Ireland, monitoring the compliance of credit institutions with regulations and conducting inspections to identify weaknesses in internal control and governance structures. Guiney later joined Elavon Financial Services DAC as a Prudential Compliance Manager, ensuring the company's compliance with regulatory prudential rules. Andrew was also involved in the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process and conducted stress tests to assess the viability of business models and strategies. Currently, Guiney serves as the Head of Enterprise Risk at Elavon Financial Services Limited, managing a team of professionals responsible for developing and enhancing the company's risk assessments, recovery plans, and stress testing models.
