Tom O'Shea

Tom O'Shea has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Tom is currently working at Elavon Europe as the Head of Operational Risk, Data Governance & Data Protection. In this role, they lead a team of professionals and is responsible for various aspects of operational risk, data governance, and data protection. Tom also chairs several committees within the organization. Before joining Elavon Europe, they worked at Elavon, Inc. as the Head of Technology Oversight, Data Governance and Data Protection. Prior to that, Tom held a Senior Director position at KPMG Ireland, where they worked in management consulting for over a decade. Tom also has experience working at Microsoft and Fujitsu in various leadership roles. Tom's earlier career includes roles at KPMG Ireland and Merck Sharp & Dohme/FMC International, where they gained experience in project management, operational performance improvement, and manufacturing. Tom O'Shea has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin. Tom also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Open University. In addition to their degrees, Tom has certifications as a Chartered Engineer from Engineers Ireland, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from KPMG Ireland, and a Prince2 certification, also from KPMG Ireland.
