Prashant Appikatla

Prashant Appikatla, CSPO®, currently serves as a Software Engineer (Automation Engineer) at U.S. Bank since 2021 and as a Developer at Elavon, Inc. since March 2020, where responsibilities include automating certification processes for point-of-sale services and developing AI chatbot and personal assistant programs. Previously, Prashant worked as a Researcher at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, focusing on antibody characterization related to the influenza vaccine, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Trawick Research Group, studying thiosemicarbazone inhibitors for Chagas' Disease. Additional experience includes a Research Intern position at Shriners Hospitals for Children, conducting clinical trials on drug effects in burned mice models. Prashant holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Immunology of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Baylor University.
