Antxon Alonso

Antxon Alonso began their work experience as a IT intern at UPV/EHU in 1995. Antxon then worked as a web application developer at Ibermática from 1996 to 1998. Following that, they worked as an internet application developer at Optenet / Allot for a brief period before becoming the technical director at DBnet Informática y Comunicaciones from 1998 to 2006. Afterward, they served as the director of IT at Grupo Kirol - Kirolbet & KirolSoft - from 2006 to 2021. In 2022, Antxon joined Tigloo as an IT consultant and also took on the role of IT Director at Elay Group, where they currently hold the positions of CIO and CISO.

Antxon Alonso attended Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a Licenciado Informática degree in Ingeniero Informático. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in February 2023.
