Israel Unterman

Israel Unterman is an experienced Algorithm Engineer currently working at Elbit Systems Israel since August 2023. Prior to this role, Israel served as a Principal Engineer at Western Digital from July 2020 to November 2024 and held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Elbit Systems from March 2002 to July 2020, where responsibilities included developing algorithms in C++ and Mathematica, focusing on embedded systems. Early career experience includes working as a Software Engineer at OrAcess, where Israel contributed to developing an optical wireless communication link. Israel holds a B.A. in Electro-Optics from the Jerusalem College of Engineering and a BA in Physics/Electro-Optics from the Jerusalem College of Technology, both completed between 1991 and 1994.
