Ramona Brookins

Ramona Brookins, MBA, RTRP has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Ramona began their career as a Management Consultant at the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, where they established an outreach resource center and assisted with fiscal management. Ramona later worked as a Management Consultant at the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. After that, Ramona worked as a Professional Accountant at CareerSource Florida, where they developed financial policies and oversaw budgets. Ramona then joined First American Title as a Senior Accountant, ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and maintaining financial records. Ramona also worked as a Commercial Business Analyst at Siemens Energy & Automation, where they handled financial closings, reconciliations, and reporting. In addition, they served as an Adjunct Professor at several universities, including Keiser University, Valencia Community College, and Florida Southern College, teaching accounting courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Ramona currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Elder Care Services, Inc., where they oversee financial operations.

Ramona Brookins, MBA, RTRP holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Walden University, obtained from 2014 to 2017. Ramona also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Furthermore, they hold an MBA degree in Accounting and Taxation from the University of Phoenix. In addition, they have obtained certifications as a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor from Intuit Accountants in 2009 and as a Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP) from the Internal Revenue Service in 2005.
