Tom Brooks

Tom Brooks has over 10 years of experience in the business industry. Tom began their career in 2011 as a Trader for Marubeni Corporation. In 2013, they co-founded Mopp, a company that connects individuals looking for household services with top-rated, pre-screened service professionals. In 2014, they were the Director of International Operations at Handy HQ, a platform for connecting individuals looking for household services with top-rated, pre-screened independent service professionals. The company was later acquired by ANGIE Homeservices Inc. In 2015, they co-founded Elder HQ, a mission-driven company using tech to reinvent what it means to age. In 2019, they joined 500 Startups as a Program Lead, Entrepreneur-in-Residence & Mentor. Tom also led two investment programs in Saudi Arabia on behalf of 500 Global. In 2020, they became the CEO/Co-Founder of Yon Living, a company that creates unforgettable shared living experiences for those with the freedom to live and work from anywhere.

Tom Brooks attended The University of Sheffield from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bsc in Economics.
