Tim Hallett

Tim was promoted to his role as vice president of certification in January 2021. He has more than 16 years of experience as a proven leader at ES&S, working in technology, compliance, and general law matters. In his previous roles in Compliance and as the company’s associate general counsel, he worked with states and jurisdictions and internal sales, account management, and development teams to provide legal and election-related resources.

Tim listens to the needs of election officials and works to ensure that ES&S products continue to meet and exceed the highest levels of testing standards. He works closely with the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC), independent U.S. voting system testing laboratories, and state election officials to ensure each ES&S voting system is certified to meet Federal Voluntary Voting System Guidelines under the Federal Testing Program as well as all applicable state voting system laws and regulations.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law.
