Mario Lavoie has extensive experience at Élections Canada, having held various positions since December 2011. Currently, Mario serves as the Associate Director of Field Communications and Support in the Operations and Field Governance Branch. Prior to this role, Mario worked as the Manager of the Regulatory Affairs Secretariat for Political Parties and as the Director of Outreach and Stakeholder Engagement. Mario holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International/Global Studies from the University of Toronto, obtained between 1986 and 1990.
