Jing Gu

Jing Gu is a highly skilled aerospace engineer with extensive experience in flight physics, aerodynamics, and structural analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Flight Physics Engineer at Electra.aero since September 2024, Jing previously worked at Zenith Aerospace as an Aeronautical Engineer, where notable contributions included creating a time-stepping aerodynamics model for high-altitude aircraft and integrating multidisciplinary analysis frameworks. Prior roles include a Loads and Dynamics Engineer at Joby Aviation, where significant work involved developing aerodynamics models for eVTOL aircraft, and earlier internships focused on aerodynamics and numerical simulations in various aerospace contexts. Jing holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University.
