Electra
Andrew Ramsey is an experienced engineer with a strong background in control systems and electrical engineering. Currently serving as a Control Systems Engineer at Electra since December 2022, Andrew previously held notable roles including Engineer 4 at Amazon Web Services from June 2019 to October 2021, and Station Leading Petty Officer/Recruiter at the Navy Recruiting Command from June 2012 to May 2015. Andrew's foundational experience includes serving as an Electronic Technician on the USS Alaska SSBN 732 from September 2007 to April 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Operations Management from The University of Alabama Graduate School (2020-2022), a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (2017-2019), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Georgia Southern University (2015-2017). Additional training includes completing the Nuclear Power School at Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC) from 2005 to 2007.
