Deryck Robinson

Deryck Robinson has over 30 years of experience in sales and business development. Deryck is currently serving as the Director of Sales-North America at Electra Vehicles, Inc., where they utilize predictive battery management and design software to enhance the performance and safety of electric vehicles. Prior to this, Deryck worked as the Sr. Director of Sales at QuantumScape, a leading developer of solid-state lithium-metal batteries for electric vehicles. Deryck was responsible for worldwide sales across various sectors.

Before joining QuantumScape, Deryck held the position of Southeast Regional Director-Leader in Business Transformation at Arista Networks, an industry leader in cloud networking and advanced security platforms. From 2010 to 2019, they worked at Infinera, where they held roles such as VP, East Region Sales and V.P. Global Strategic Sales. Deryck managed and inspired teams, and led a global specialist sales organization covering multiple regions.

Earlier in their career, Deryck served as the Sr. Sales Director at Infinera, overseeing Field Sales Directors and System Engineers in the Southeast and LATAM markets. Deryck also worked as a Sales Director at Sonus, where they contributed to a successful IPO and educated customers about VOIP and Softswitch solutions.

Deryck's career began at Cabletron Systems as an Account Executive, followed by roles at Novell and Sun Microsystems as an Account Executive and Senior Account Manager respectively. Deryck then joined Cisco as a Major Account Manager, and finally transitioned to their current leadership roles in the technology industry.

Deryck Robinson holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of New Hampshire. Deryck has also completed the Harvard Manage Mentor Leadership Program at Harvard Business School. In addition to their formal education, Deryck has obtained certifications such as the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Arista Networks in March 2020 and the Salesforce Expeditioner from Trailhead.
