Vito Giallorenzo

Vito Giallorenzo is the Director at Electra Vehicles. Prior to this, they were the Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategic Partnerships at BlackBerry from September 2017 to March 2021. Vito was responsible for running BlackBerry’s M&A, corporate strategy, strategic and long-term planning, strategic partnerships and capital markets activities.

BlackBerry is now a +$1Bn revenue business solely focused on enterprise software and services, offering IT cybersecurity and IoT / automotive safety platforms.

Before joining BlackBerry, Vito was the Principal, Corporate Development and M&A at Naspers Limited from January 2011 to December 2012 where they were focused on acquisitions and corporate development in the European Internet and technology markets.

Prior to that, they worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley from January 2006 to December 2008 in the Technology Media & Telecommunications sector.

Vito started their career as an Advanced Services Engineer - Cybersecurity at Cisco Systems Inc. from January 2000 to December 2004.

Vito Giallorenzo has an MBA from INSEAD, a MSEng from Politecnico di Milano, and an MS from University of Illinois, Chicago. Vito is also Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) certified.
