Glenda Thomas has extensive experience in supply chain management, with a focus on supplier diversity. Glenda has held various roles in Southern Company, Alabama Power Company, and Georgia Power Company since 2006. Their roles included Supplier Diversity & Development Consultant, Supplier Diversity & Relations Manager, and Supplier Diversity Manager- Electric. Glenda also served as Contracts Services Supervisor and Contracts Supervisor in Southern Nuclear. Additionally, Thomas worked for IBM Global Services in Network Management for three years. As of August 2022, they will serve as the Chief Executive Officer of ElectraGrid Solutions. Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated their leadership skills by managing teams, developing initiatives, and providing strategic direction to various business units.
Glenda Thomas earned their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University in 1999. Glenda then pursued a Master's of Science degree in Project Management from The George Washington University, which they completed in 2002. Prior to their collegiate endeavors, Glenda attended Ramsay High School from 1991 to 1995.
