Joey Stieha has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Joey began their career in 2009 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky, where they conducted research on the processing and analysis of etched graphene. After that, from 2011 to 2015, Joey worked as a Process Scientist at nGimat, focusing on grants and producing nanopowders, as well as analyzing powder using various techniques.

In 2015, Joey joined the University of Kentucky again, this time as a Graduate Research/Teaching Assistant. Joey conducted research in the Bearings and Seals Lab, designing equipment for seal testing and analyzing wear and surface modifications. Joey also assisted a professor in teaching machine design.

Joey's most recent experience is with ElectraMet™, where they have held various roles since 2017. Joey started as a Design Engineer and later became a Project Engineer and Project Engineering Manager. Currently, they serve as the System Engineering Manager, overseeing the company's automated circular technology for metal and impurity removal in manufacturing and waste processes. Their expertise lies in maximizing uptime reliability, assuring compliance, and reducing toxic waste production.

Joey Stieha has an extensive educational background. Joey started their education at the University of Kentucky in 2006, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in both Physics and Music. Joey successfully completed their Bachelor's degrees in 2011. Later, Joey returned to the University of Kentucky to further their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering. From 2013 to 2015, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same university from 2015 to 2017.
