Chris Yaras

Chris Yaras is the owner of Explaining the Tides, LLC since October 2019, pursuing personal aspirations. At General Dynamics Electric Boat since November 2016, Chris serves as a motivational speaker, quality ambassador, and instructional system designer, contributing to the development of training programs and employee culture. Previous experience includes working as a stagehand for Crew 538 from January 2011 to April 2019, an instructional systems design specialist at Apollo Professional Solutions from September 2015 to May 2017, and an independent duty corpsman at the Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory from September 2014 to June 2015. Chris also served in various roles in the US Navy from September 1995 to June 2015, including submarine independent duty corpsman and leading chief petty officer in undersea medicine. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Trident University International, completed between 2016 and 2019.
