Fred Skinner

Fred Skinner has over 30 years of experience in the lighting and energy management industry. Fred started their career in 1991 as a Senior Sales Representative at Philips Lighting, where they worked for eight years. During their time at Philips Lighting, Fred achieved notable sales accomplishments.

In 1999, they joined Rexel as the Director of Lighting and Energy Management. In this role, Fred established and led the Energy Management Division, securing new business through a recognition program focused on EPA/LEED. Fred also successfully engaged building engineers across the United States and South and Central America, securing a large hospitality chain as a client.

In 2002, Fred moved on to Sylvania Lighting, where they served as a Senior Sales Representative. During their time at Sylvania Lighting, they consistently exceeded targets, earning him the 110% Club winner recognition each year. Fred also received the Rookie of the Year award as the top-performing new sales representative nationwide.

In 2006, Fred joined World Electric Supply as the Director of Energy Management and Renewable Energy Sales. Fred handled sales and marketing initiatives, built lasting relationships with clients, and attended trade shows to drive revenue growth. Later, they were promoted to Director of Marketing and Digital Business Development, taking on additional responsibilities in enterprise marketing and individual sales objectives.

Most recently, Fred joined Electric Lighting Agencies in 2020 as an Outside Sales Representative, serving the West Coast of Florida, Orlando, and key accounts in other areas. Fred specializes in providing a wide range of commercial and residential lighting brands to distribution, showrooms, and the specifier community.

From 1986 to 1988, Fred attended Miami Dade College and obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
