Ahmed Saad

Ahmed Saad, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Research Scientist at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) since May 2021. Prior to this role, Ahmed was a Graduate Research Assistant at Florida International University from January 2018 to April 2021 and a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, Helwan University from July 2009 to December 2017. Ahmed also worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Smart Home Electro-mechanical Consultant, where responsibilities included designing electrical power distribution networks and evaluating power system grids. Earlier experience includes serving as a Junior Electrical Engineer for the Egyptian Electric Holding Company, contributing to the KURYMAT III and TEBBEEN power plant projects. Ahmed holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Florida International University, a Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Helwan University, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Helwan University.
