Ali A. al-Heji

Ali A. Al-Heji currently serves as Senior Manager of Integrated Energy Planning at NEOM, overseeing the ambitious goal of establishing the world's largest 100% renewable energy system by 2030. With previous experience as Manager of Energy Planning & Modelling at both NEOM and ENOWA, Ali has consistently focused on enhancing energy efficiency and reducing costs through strategic program management. Additional roles include Program Advisor for EPRI, a member of the Saudi Energy Leaders Assembly, and Team Lead of the Utilities Department at the Ministry of Energy, where extensive economic data analysis informed policy decisions. Ali's academic qualifications include an Executive Leadership credential from Harvard Business School and multiple degrees in Electrical Engineering and Materials Engineering from the University of Michigan. Notable contributions to energy regulatory frameworks were made as a Dow Sustainability Fellow, designing innovative tariff regulations for solar energy integration.
