Benjamin Spencer

Benjamin Spencer is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a diverse background in the energy sector. Currently employed at Electric Power Systems, Inc. since January 2018, Benjamin has led and assisted in various projects involving distribution systems, solar farms, and substations. At Team Ursa, Benjamin serves as the sole electrical engineer, demonstrating versatility with requirements in computer engineering and effective interdepartmental communication. Previous experience includes designing substations and switchyards at TRC Solutions, where Benjamin utilized CAD software and multiple grounding software packages. Early career roles at TRC Companies, Inc. and the University of Maine included substantial contributions to substation design and maintenance of technology equipment.
