Prateek Sharan

Prateek Sharan has worked as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Electric Power Systems since March 2020. Prior to that, they held various roles at HCL America Inc. From September 2016 to March 2020, they worked as a Lead Engineer for Safran Passenger Innovations through HCL Technologies, where they analyzed system requirements, designed and implemented software components, and integrated the RAVE In-flight Entertainment system with other third-party devices. From July 2015 to September 2016, they were a Lead Engineer for Zodiac Water and Waste Systems through HCL Technologies, where they played a key role in certifying the Vacuum Generator Motor Controller software and developed code using embedded C. From December 2011 to June 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer for UTC Aerospace Systems through HCL Technologies, where they developed code for communication modules and control, protection, and indication modules using Matlab/Simulink and C/assembly languages.

Prateek Sharan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Prateek attained this degree between 2007 and 2011. Additionally, Prateek Sharan also obtained several certifications from MathWorks, including "Modeling Electrical Power Systems with Simscape," "Integrating Code with Simulink," and "Building Interactive Applications in MATLAB" in 2021.
