Supreeth Rao

Supreeth Rao is a seasoned professional in the field of robotics and machine learning, currently serving as a Staff ML Perception Engineer at Electric Sheep Robotics since February 2023, focusing on AI-based robotics technology. Prior to this role, Supreeth was a Founding Member and Senior Robot Perception & ML Engineer at Akasha Imaging from May 2019 to February 2023, where contributions included shaping the company's technical direction and participating in prototype development and research publications. Supreeth's experience also includes significant positions at Bossa Nova Robotics, encompassing roles from Robot Perception & ML Intern to Senior Engineer, where work involved the development of perception and AI algorithms for retail robots. Earlier experience includes a research internship at Microsoft and directed research at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, culminating in a Master of Science in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from BMSCE.
