Michael Shaughnessy

Michael Shaughnessy currently serves as the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Officer at the Electric Vehicle Council since November 2023. Michael has been the Owner and Director of Everclear Electrical since July 2014, managing a domestic and commercial electrical company. Prior roles include Technical Programs Specialist and Policy Advocate at the Clean Energy Council from May 2018 to November 2023, where Michael provided technical support to solar and storage installers while advocating for the renewable industry. Additionally, Michael held part-time roles as a Technical Support Officer and compliance specialist at the Clean Energy Council and worked as an Electrician and Apprentice at John Milner Electrical from November 2009 to January 2016, focusing on switchboard changeovers and commercial lighting. Michael Shaughnessy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Melbourne, obtained between 2003 and 2006.
