Arnaud Mendez

Arnaud Mendez has extensive experience in the nuclear and industrial sectors, currently serving as Chef des operations conduite and Chef d'exploitation at EDF since December 2013. In this role, Arnaud manages the real-time production safety for two nuclear reactors, ensuring adherence to production requirements and optimizing availability while leading a team of 20. Additional responsibilities have included overseeing relationships with regulatory authorities and providing technical support to operational teams. Prior to EDF, Arnaud worked at SNCF, focusing on industrial quality projects and maintenance improvements, and completed an engineering internship at Geodis related to cost analysis and efficiency solutions. Arnaud holds an engineering degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne and a DUT in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
