Sara Sharp currently serves as an Associate Public Relations Specialist at ElectriCities of NC, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this, Sara worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Principal Employment Brand Coordinator from December 2021 to June 2023, and at PPD, where Sara held roles including Principal Employer Branding Coordinator and Senior Employer Branding Coordinator from August 2020 to June 2023. Key contributions include managing organic and paid recruitment marketing campaigns across various digital platforms, enhancing employer branding, and supporting communication strategies in educational settings. Earlier experience includes account management intern roles at McKinney and marketing internships at PPD, where Sara focused on social media strategies and event support. Educational achievements include a B.A. in Media and Journalism, with a specialization in advertising, from the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media, complemented by a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A study abroad experience in Spanish Language and Literature was completed at Centro Universitario EUSA in 2018.
