James Stevenson-Wallace

James Stevenson-Wallace is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the energy and resource sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive at the Electricity Authority since September 2018, James has also held the position of General Manager for Energy & Resource Markets at the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment since March 2014. In this role, James is responsible for the development of policy advice and the delivery of regulatory and promotional activities for New Zealand's Petroleum & Minerals team, overseeing competitive resource rights allocation. Between January 2006 and 2014, James served as Director of Fisheries Management at the Ministry for Primary Industries.
