Ciaran McManus

Ciaran McManus is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of OSW Development Ireland at ESB since March 2022, focusing on offshore wind development and a joint venture with Orsted. Previous roles include COO at both Viridi Energy and GSInfra, as well as COO at Georgia Renewable Power, where responsibilities encompassed operations and asset management for biomass power plants. Ciaran's extensive experience at ESB included roles as Plant Manager at Carrington Power, Maintenance and Environmental Manager at Moneypoint Power Station, and Group Health and Safety Manager. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University College Dublin and a Master of Science in Business Management from Smurfit Business School, UCD.
